Public Input for the 2019 Provisional Budget for

The District of Wells

Each year the District of Wells is required to prepare and submit a Budget for the year to the Provincial Government.  As part of the approval process an opportunity for public input is offered before Council approves the proposed Budget.  Accordingly, the District of Wells Council invites the public to provide:


  1.       written comments on the proposed 2019 Budget by or before 12:00 noon on March 7th, 2019 to be published on the Tuesday March 12, 2019 Regular Council Meeting agenda; and/or
  2.       oral/written comments regarding the proposed 2019 Budget for the District of Wells at the March 12, 2019 Regular Council meeting.  

Community members are encouraged to submit their input and/or attend the meeting.

 Presentation of the proposed 2019 provisional Budget will take place at the Regular Council Meeting of Tuesday, March 12, 2019 with the Budget scheduled for approval after consideration of public input on the Regular Council meeting of Tuesday March 26, 2019 (which is open to the Public).

Copies of the District of Wells’ proposed 2019 provisional budget may be found on the District’s civic web portal from the Agenda of Tuesday February 26, 2019 Regular Council meeting, copies can also be had at the District Office.
